ICF International has partnered with marketing services company Crossmark to disseminate information on energy-saving programs in retail outlets.
The team will conduct in-store activation and merchandising of consumer electronics, appliances and lighting products with energy efficiency labels such as Energy Star, ICF said Tuesday.
“ICF, Crossmark, utility providers and shoppers all have the same goal with this program: to reduce energy consumption and save money for consumers,” said Tom Roessler, senior vice president for ICF International.
The partnership is intended to help shoppers gain information about energy-saving products and incentives provided by local electric utilities.
Roessler said Crossmark will also hold events to demonstrate the environmental importance of energy conservation.
