FireEye has moved to integrate its cybersecurity technologies with Telefonica‘s managed security and mobile security services under a new partnership for the business-to-business market.
FireEye said Thursday Telefonica will offer its enterprise customers the FireEye Mobile Threat Prevention product and other security offerings to counter advanced persistent threats.
“[The] reality is modern attack groups can execute a sophisticated hack against any target worldwide that holds potential value for financial or political gain, or intellectual property theft,” said Steve Pataky, vice president of worldwide channels and alliances at FireEye.
He added that the partnership will work to deliver intelligence and services along with technology to help businesses prevent data breaches.
The combined capabilities will utilize virtual machine technology and digital forensic analysis to isolate, identify and eliminate threats, FireEye said.
