Rod Volz serves as Vice President of Client Services, Deputy COO at Solutions By Design, an IT management support services company.
His 27 years of professional services experience includes leadership roles in profit and loss management, business development and program management.
Formerly Volz was the founder and managing principal at FutureBridge, a Virginia-based information technology and management consulting services company.
Prior to launching FutureBridge, he served as a vice president at EmeSec from January 2012 to April 2014 and held responsibility over the company’s BD and growth strategies.
He also worked at Project Performance as strategic solutions VP from April 2009 to November 2011 and spent six years in a senior principal role at SRA International.
Volz founded online soccer equipment retailer SoccerVault after three years as a vice president at Xpedior and four years as a senior manager for network operations at Verizon.
Before he joined Verizon in 1994, he held analyst positions at Procter & Gamble, ICF International and BDM International.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in information systems management from the University of Texas in Austin.
