FireEye has unveiled its Global Threat Intelligence Sharing initiative to help customers exchange threat intelligence with community members such as industry partners and establish a unified cyber defense effort.
The company said Friday the initiative aims to leverage FireEye’s Community Threat Intelligence platform, the FireEye Dynamic Threat Intelligence cloud and Adaptive Defense strategy in order to enable real-time sharing of data on identified threats.
“Today’s threat landscape demands far more than just broad attack data being exchanged without any context for those receiving it,” said David DeWalt, FireEye chairman and CEO.
He added that the initiative will work to automate cyber defense across a community and enable customization of responses.
The Global Threat Intelligence Sharing program works to utilize the FireEye Advanced Threat Intelligence Plus software to offer levels of context to the threat environment, FireEye said.
The company launched the initiative at the Friday White House Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection.
