Booz Allen Hamilton and the Health Information Trust Alliance will jointly host a cyber event on March 25 meant to help participants assess their cyber response strategy.
The cyber town hall session in Washington, D.C., is intended to provide industry with an understanding of cyber resources available from the Department of Health and Human Services, FBI, Department of Homeland Security and HITRUST, Booz Allen said Thursday.
Attendees from the government, insurers, hospitals and other healthcare providers will also have an opportunity to derive insights from various collaboration and cyber intelligence sharing strategies to counter threats, the company added.
“One of the key findings of the initial CyberRX program was that organizations that participate in cyber exercises are more prepared for a cyberattack regardless of the maturity and comprehensiveness of their information security program,†said Jim Koenig, principal and leader of commercial privacy and incident response practices at Booz Allen.
The event is part of HITRUST’s CyberRX 2.0 program it launched in April 2014.
Booz Allen and HITRUST also plan to hold CyberRX 2.0 cyber town hall events in Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia/New Jersey, Indianapolis and Charlotte.
