Boeing has appointed Bryan Scott to oversee the company’s business in San Antonio and succeed Mike Emmelhainz as the latter returns to Oklahoma City to lead operations ahead of Steve Goo’s retirement.
The company said Wednesday Scott and Emmelhainz will assume their new roles at the end of January and report to Scott Strode, vice president and general manager of Boeing’s aircraft modernization and sustainment business under the global services and support group.
“Mike and Bryan are leaders capable of inspiring others to deliver excellence every day,” said Strode.
Scott is formerly director of integrated quality for Boeing’s military aircraft business and also serves as head of the company’s Florida operations at Cecil Field.
He will be in charge of Boeing San Antonio in Texas, which provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for both commercial and military aircraft.
Emmelhainz will lead Boeing Oklahoma City in Oklahoma, which specializes in the modernization of U.S. Air Force aircraft.
