Casey Coleman, client executive vice president at AT&T‘s government solutions business, forecasts industry to drive an interlinking of social, mobile, analytics and cloud systems in 2015, she told FCW in an interview published Tuesday.
She told interviewer Colby Hochmuth that technological convergence could help federal agencies to better manage workloads with any device.
Coleman also believes the “Internet of Things” has potential to address efficiency, security and maintenance challenges in the government’s distributed physical systems.
“Any one of these things is a big deal by itself, but when you put them together, you have some synergistic capabilities to do things you couldn’t do before,” she told FCW.
She uses the skills and experience she gained during her 12-year career at the General Services Administration to help AT&T meet public-sector clients’ requirements, according to Hochmuth’s article.
“My role here is really to connect our customers with the solutions they need to help fulfill their mission, to strengthen and grow our relationships, and to understand the missions of those agencies,” Coleman added.
