QinetiQ North America has received a $17.5 million contract from the U.S. Army and a separate $30 million contract from the U.S. Navy to refurbish and modernize the services’ TALON IV military robots.
QNAÂ will provide spare parts for the TALON systems fielded in Afghanistan and Iraq and upgrade services to help protect U.S. warfighters in operations, the company said Thursday.
The company will also purchase new systems and spare parts for the Navy’s TALON robots and perform reconditioning on the systems under the three-year indefinite-duration/indefinite-quantity contract with the Navy.
QNA and the military services inked the two contracts in September.
