Informatica,T-Systems Partner on Data Mgmt Services; Dirk Häußermann Comments

Informatica and T-Systems have partnered to combine their cloud integration systems in an effort to help clients manage their data.

Customers will be able to consolidate data and applications from public and private clouds as well as those in on-premise platforms using the combined integration and data management service, Informatica said Monday.

“The alliance between T Systems and Informatica will deliver companies the benefit of a turnkey integration solution that would allow them to start quickly and scale cost effectively,” said Dirk Häußermann, a vice president at Informatica.

The companies plan to roll out the new service at the end of 2014 and T-Systems will operate an Informatica-powered data orchestration-as a-service offering.
