FireEye has received CRN magazine’s 2014 award for mobile security applications.
A CRN editorial panel selected the company’s mobile security app based on its functionality, suitability to task, ease of use, innovation and potential value to clients, FireEye said Monday.
“This award demonstrates industry recognition of the importance of mobile threat prevention,“ said Manish Gupta, senior vice president of products at FireEye.
The FireEye security app works to identify and stop malware, compromised adware and software vulnerabilities in mobile applications.
CRN awarded the 2014 Enterprise App Award in such categories as analytics, communication, contact management, enterprise collaboration, human capital management, information management, Internet of Things, productivity, security, systems administration and Editors’ Choice.
