Neel Mehta
Barbara Humpton serves as senior vice president and chief operating officer at Siemens Government Technologies, the U.S. federal business organization of the German industrial conglomerate.
She elevated to the COO post in December 2014 after three years as the business’ SVP of business development.
In that role, she led work to bring Siemens’ offerings in energy, infrastructure and healthcare to federal government customers.
Prior to Siemens, Humpton served as a VP at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she was responsible for program performance and new business capture for technology consulting in the departments of Homeland Security and Justice.
She is also a former VP at Lockheed Martin with responsibility for biometrics programs, border and transportation security and infrastructure protection.
Humpton led programs as the FBI’s next generation identification initiative and the Transportation Security Administration‘s transportation workers’ identification credential.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University.
