Fluor Corp. and China National Nuclear Corp. have signed a memorandum of understanding to pursue nuclear and renewable energy business opportunities in Europe and China.
CNNC and Fluor will collaborate on various civil nuclear-related projects in the U.K., Germany and China, as well as on wind farms and solar power opportunities, Fluor said Thursday.
“We are excited to cooperate with CNNC on potential nuclear and renewable opportunities,†said Dave Dunning, Fluor executive vice president of business development and strategy.
Dunning and CNNC President Qian Zhimin signed the agreement in Beijing.
“CNNC will work with Fluor to explore the full range of cooperation in Europe and China based upon the principles of mutual benefits, win-win and complementary of each other’s strengths,” said Zhimin.
