Boeing has demonstrated the company’s 767-2C tanker aircraft designed for use in U.S. Air Force missions.
The Boeing 767-2C plane completed the first flight from Paine Field in Washington to Boeing Field as part of the KC-46 tanker test program, Boeing said Sunday.
Boeing is set to install military systems in the aircraft following the certification process and deliver 18 KC-46 planes to the Air Force by 2017.
The company is also building two 767-2Cs and two KC-46A tankers under a contract with the Air Force.
