New research from Strategic Defense Intelligence has projected a 1.05 percent year-over-year growth for the global military radar market through 2024.
The new report released Monday contains analysis of the market’s industry values, its challenges and major players.
It identified technological innovation, particularly in radio frequency and radar, and an increased need for threat mitigation as factors affecting demand.
The report also named airborne radar as the leading segment with a 42.5 percent market share, and forecast that majority of orders for the 2014-2024 period will come from North America and the Asia-Pacific region.
