CACI InternationalÂ will provide the U.S. Central Command with counter narco-terrorism support across the command’s area of responsibility underÂ a $62.5 million contract awarded through the Rapid Response 3rd Generation vehicle.
Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO,Â said TuesdayÂ that the contractÂ extendsÂ the company’s work on CENTCOM’sÂ counter narco-terrorism mission, whichÂ aims to combat terrorism and drug trafficking and their impact on theÂ U.S.
CACI said it has supported this program for five years withÂ program management, training and logistics services as well as subject matter personnelÂ from military and civilian agencies.
The companyÂ added this contract extension falls under CACI’sÂ integrated security portfolio.
CENTCOM’sÂ counter narco-terrorism programÂ covers Afghanistan and other countries in Central Asia.
