Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) has been selected to develop and install a condensate splitter for Magellan Midstream Partners.
Leidos will provide engineering, procurement and construction services to Magellan’s Corpus Christi, Texas-based processing and storage terminal through a portfolio of DesignBuild services, Leidos said Monday.
James Moos, president of Leidos engineering services group, said the company will work to advise Magellan on the expansion of midstream processing technologies.
Magellan will start to use the condensate splitter in the second half of 2016 to process up to 50,000 barrels per day of Eagle Ford condensate from the Double Eagle pipeline.
Leidos will collaborate with Saulsbury Industries to design the splitter with room for an additional train in order to increase the output to 100,000 barrels per day.
