Jacobs Engineering Group has been awarded a six-year, $20 million contract to help the Texas Department of Transportation oversee design-build and public-private partnership projects across the state.
Jacobs said Tuesday it will implement design, construction oversight and owner verification testing procedures for the department under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
“Using lessons learned from our work on the Dallas-Fort Worth Connector, Chisholm Trail Parkway and North Tarrant Expressway projects, we look forward to leveraging our skills and experience to enhance the state’s connectivity and mobility,” said Randy Pierce, a Jacobs group vice president.
The contract covers projects in the Austin-San Antonio and Rio Grande Valley areas.
