IBM has put together a new suite of tools designed to keep cloud data protected through the use of smart analytics technology.
The Dynamic Cloud Security portfolio is a collection of the company’s software and services curated by its engineers in the past year to provide offerings for visibility, management of security operations, control of data and to authenticate access to applications in the hybrid cloud, IBM said Wednesday.
IBM’s SoftLayer, Managed Security Services platform and other products are included for real-time threat identification, analytics and security intelligence.
“Customers are now moving critical workloads to the cloud and they expect enterprise grade security to move with it,†said Brendan Hannigan, general manager for IBM Security Systems.
“We have pivoted our entire security portfolio to the cloud to help customers lock down user access, control data and maintain visibility.”
The company cited studies that indicate clients have become more mobile and continue to migrate their business to the cloud despite concerns of a likely security breach.
