Fulcrum has been awarded a potential five-year, $13.9 million contract to support a U.S. Defense Health Agency-run development test center for the Defense Healthcare Management System Modernization.
The DHMS program executive office chose Fulcrum’s healthcare division to update and maintain system software at the Richmond, Virginia-based EHR testing facility, Fulcrum said Tuesday.
The center is built to facilitate development, integration and assessment of new tools for the military health information technology platform.
Fulcrum says it will also help DHMS PEO establish a second military health IT testing infrastructure at the Naval Sea Systems Command Allegany Ballistics Laboratory in west Virginia.
The company won the system build-out and sustainment contract through the government-wide Chief Information Officer-Solution and Partners 3 vehicle.
