Scott McCoy serves as Siemens Government Technologies’ chief legal officer and leads the legal, contracts, facilities, and industrial security teams.
He also provides legal support to the company and its business operations.
As compliance officer, he is in charge of compliance training and the oversight of all employee ethics and compliance programs. McCoy also serves as a legal adviser to the board of directors and its committees as secretary of the board of directors.
McCoy discussed his many roles at the company in a wide-ranging interview with ExecutiveBiz, where he outlines how he aims to achieve compliance and his involvement in each contract Siemens wins.
Prior to joining Siemens Government Technologies, Scott served as associate general counsel for Thales and oversaw legal affairs for nine domestic and foreign operating affiliates.
He also advised U.S. and European management on matters such as commercial and government contracts, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, intellectual property/licensing, and litigation.
Prior to his tenure at Thales, Scott served as counsel at Exxon Mobil Corporation.
With over 15 years experience practicing law, McCoy has experience in government and commercial contracting, corporate governance, and compliance-related matters.
