Jennifer Felix serves as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Sotera Defense Solutions, where she oversees the company’s financial operations in strategic planning, accounting and financial processes and procedures.
The 20-year GovCon and technology sector veteran joined the Herndon, Virginia-based data fusion and analytics, cyber networks and ISR contractor in September 2012 after she led Deltek through an initial public offering and helped secure Vangent‘s September 2011 sale to General Dynamics.
Felix held a controller role at both private equity-backed firms and stayed on as financial planning director with General Dynamics’ $11 billion IS&T unit after the merger to oversee all merger and acquisition activity.
As Deltek’s finance VP, she built and directed that firm’s accounting and finance support functions and transformed a decentralized finance organization into one unit while she was at American Management Systems.
Felix began her career working with technology companies over eight years at Deloitte & Touche.
The University of Maryland graduate is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Virginia Society of CPAs.
She has been involved in accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting and dash-boarding throughout her career.
