Cora Carmody serves as senior vice president and chief information officer at Jacobs Engineering, where she provides leadership for Jacobs’ information technology systems.
Her responsibilities encompass enterprise resource systems for HR, finance, operational support systems such as project control, engineering/design and collaboration, infrastructure systems and services such as networks, servers, desktops and web/social and collaborative systems.

Carmody was with Litton/PRC from 1978 – 2001 (CIO from 1996-2001), Invensys from 2001-2003 and SAIC from 2003-2008.
She has received honors including NASA’s Manned Flight Honoree Award for work on Space Station Freedom Software build process and ComputerWorld’s “Premier 100â€, Top IT Leaders of 2002.
Carmody holds a master’s degree in computer science from Fairleigh Dickinson University and both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mathematics from Johns Hopkins University.
