Cubic Applications will provide support services to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord mission training complex in a $15 million task order from the U.S. Army Forces Command.
The award includes a transition period plus one base year, with options to extend for two more years, and comes under the Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, Cubic said Tuesday.
Cubic’s team from the operations support and education group, led by program director Wayne Parks, will provide technical support for training and live, virtual, constructive, gaming technologies at JBLM and Yakima Training Center in Washington state.
The support services will include planning, installation and maintenance exercises, with focus on building leadership and combat readiness through personal and team training and simulation environments.
The multiple-award OPTARSS II IDIQ seeks to acquire training support services for the Army National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve and other components of the U.S. Army.
