Clear Government Solutions has received a provisional authority-to-operate from the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program Joint Authorization Board to offer the company’ FedGRID cloud computing tool to federal agencies.
The company said Tuesday that the board — which comprises officials from agencies such as the Defense Department, Department of Homeland Security and General Services Administration — awarded the JAB P-ATO after an assessment by Lunarline.
Christopher Grady, president of CGS, said the authorization evaluated the company’s compliance with government security requirements and eligibility to host federal data.
Coalfire also performed a review of the company’s documentation compliance alongside Lunarline’s security assessment, CGS said.
FedGRID features Personal Identity Verification functions, direct-to-carrier connectivity, support for dedicated fiber and government Trusted Internet Connection and colocation functions.
