GSAThe General Services Administration will launch a third iteration of its contract vehicle for federal property leasing and brokerage services.

GSA said Monday it has posted a draft solicitation for a contract that will cover work to help the agency’s realty contracting officers perform market surveys, document preparation and site visits.

The GSA Leasing Support Services acquisition program seeks to provide rent credits worth up to $100 million to tenant agencies and offer as much as $275 million in gross commissions.

“GLS is more than just another broker contract,” said Chris Wisner, GSA assistant commissioner for leasing.

“It’s a tool that provides GSA with beginning-to-end leasing support services, helping the agency accomplish one of its core missions: to provide the best value in real estate to the government and American taxpayers,” Wisner added.

The agency included a strategic planning provision in the contract and developed an internal system for measuring savings the agency will generate through the program.

Government and industry stakeholders can submit comments on the GLS draft solicitation through Dec. 15.
