A FireEye subsidiary has unveiled two cybersecurity services intended to help utility and manufacturing companies protect their internal systems from the threat of advanced attacks.
Mandiant‘s Industrial Control System Security Gap Assessment team will work to evaluate a client’s ICS security programs, monitor vulnerabilities and recommend infrastructure protection strategies, FireEye said Wednesday.
The offering is designed for manufacturers and utilities that use supervisory control and data acquisition platforms.
Kevin Mandia, FireEye senior vice president and chief operating officer, said the new program is built on Mandiant’s experience in helping manufacturing organizations respond to security incidents.
Mandiant also introduced the Cyber Defense Center Development service, aiming to help customers establish cybersecurity metrics as well as processes for internal analysis and collaboration.
The firm’s consultants will advise clients on how configuring and integrating security tools that are built to safeguard critical assets through the program.
