ICF International will extend support for Baltimore Gas and Electric Company’s heat and power programs in projects worth a total of $61 million.
The Fairfax-based consulting services and technology solutions company will provide the work under three contracts for a combined period of three years, ICF said Monday.
It has been helping BGE with designing, marketing and monitoring its energy efficiency portfolio, a partnership ICF indicated has already reaped various industry awards for the Exelon subsidiary.
“Utility companies must balance the growing demand for energy with a price-sensitive, environmentally conscious consumer base,†said Mike Mernick, senior vice president for ICF International.
The two companies strive to meet such needs with initiatives designed to increase program participation and client satisfaction, he added.
