David Rankin serves as the chief information security officer for Raytheon’s intelligence, information and services business unit.
In this role, he is responsible for the overall direction of the global IT security strategies and operations for the IISÂ business.
Previously, Rankin was the chief information security officer for Raytheon Technical Services Company.
In 2011, he was awarded the RTSC President’s Coin, which recognizes employees who the company deems to have have achieved a significant “above and beyond†accomplishment.
Prior to Raytheon, he served in director level positions at Fannie Mae, Computer Associates, Ernst & Young and Niche Networks.
Rankin also served at U.S. Air Force’s 609th Information Warfare Squadron, where he designed, installed, and maintained information security operations concentrating in Southwest Asia and the United States in support of U.S. Central Command.
He holds an M.B.A. degree with distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in technology management from Devry University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
