Raytheon-logoDavid Gore, serves as a director and business development executive for the intelligence and information systems segment at Raytheon, where he serves as the company’s National Security Agency account manager and senior capture manager for large cybersecurity and signals intelligence programs.

The former NSA engineering intern has been a director at Raytheon since 2012 and joined the company after previous service as a vice president of business development at Science Applications International Corp.

He held the BD VP title for SAIC’s cyber information solutions business unit and also served as NSA account manager and senior capture manager for several large SIGINT programs.

Gore is also a former BD VP for L-3 Communications‘ government services business, where he led a business development organization that supported the company’s intelligence and special operations division.

Prior to L-3, he served as director of national intelligence accounts at Keane Federal Systems and a senior manager at Titan Systems Corp.

He started his career as a systems engineer at NSA in 1987 after his internship there ended, then was promoted to program manager in 1991 and held that role until 1995.

From 1995 to 2001, he served as a senior business and IT consultant-manager with firms such as AT&T and the former portion of PwC that is now known as IBM‘s global services segment.

Gore moved to telecommunications startup Quantum Photonics in 2001, where he served as senior manager of business operations and strategic planning.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University’s Whiting School of Engineering in 1991 and an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.
