Deltek expects the federal government to award up to $206 billion in fiscal year 2015 contracts for information technology support and other professional services, Federal Times reported Sunday.
Aaron Boyd writes that projection represents a $145 billion increase from Deltek’s estimated total value of the top 20 GovCon opportunities during FY 2014.
The General Services Administration-run $50 billion Alliant II IT program, the Army‘s $30 billion Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services contract and the $20 billion Defense Health Information Technology Services Generation vehicle rounded out the top three, according to the report.
Deltek market researchers estimate that 54 percent of potential contracting dollars in fiscal 2015 will come from the Defense Department.
Eleven contracts on the Deltek list are for IT products and services, while the remaining nine cover work areas such as operations support, construction, engineering, maintenance, architecture.
