XTAR Colocation Space Hosts Leidos’ Manned Aircraft Comm Tests; Andrew Ruszkowski Comments

LeidosÂ selectedÂ XTARÂ late last year to provide colocation space in Mount Jackson, Virginia to host tests of anÂ airborne communications system on anÂ mannedÂ intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft used by the U.S. Army.

XTAR said Aug. 20 that tests held atÂ the Mount Jackson teleport includes Leidos’ X-band antenna and terrestrial connectivity network that leveragesÂ the XTAR-LANT satellite system.

AndrewÂ Ruszkowski, XTAR chief commercial officer, said his company aims to provide an environment that supports government and other X-band stakeholders such asÂ developers and integrators.

The contract withÂ Leidos is effective through July 2015.
