SRA International and Supply Chain Visions have won a contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs to assist in the technical training of its logistical workforce in supply chain management.
Supply Chain Visions said Tuesday that it will contribute the knowledgebase on the subject matter while SRA will lend support in the areas of program and talent development.
Karen Popular-Lawhorn, SRA vice president for the strategy and performance group, said the partnership will help provide highly specialized services to its clients.
Steve Geary, president of Supply Chain Visions, added, “We’re excited to be selected for this opportunity and we’re honored to help the VA serve those who have served us.â€
The VA sends more than 6,000 of its logisticians for training at its Supply Chain Management School, under the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy system.
