Cubic Transportation Systems has introduced a back-office platform intended to help transit agencies manage tolls collected on the highway.
The NextCity for Tolling platform is designed to unify transaction processing, customer service and financial management applications, Cubic said Monday.
“Our vision for NextCity is a fully integrated information and payments management system that spans all of the agencies and authorities in an urban or regional area, enabling managers and planners to holistically optimize their entire transportation network,†said Steve Shewmaker, Cubic Transportation Systems’ president.
The company developed the tolling management product to facilitate multi-agency operations as well as support web, mobile, cloud payment management systems.
Cubic will showcase the offering at the ongoing International Bridge, Tunnel and Turnpike Association’s annual conference at Hilton Austin in Texas.
