Talha Zobair, formerly senior tax counsel and director of global taxes at Raytheon, has joined Northrop Grumman as vice president of tax.
Zobair will report to James Palmer, corporate vice president and chief financial officer, and start in the tax VP role on Aug. 18, Northrop said Monday.
“I am pleased Talha is joining the Northrop Grumman business management leadership team. He is a proven leader in our industry and in the tax field,†said Palmer.
Zobair will be responsible for Northrop’s tax strategies, research, regulatory compliance in the U.S. and overseas, tax legislation analysis and tax consulting services for business customers.
Zobair previously worked at Alcoa with responsibility on federal and state tax issues, as well as Ernst & Young and PwC before he joined Raytheon.
