John McGee, formerly executive vice president for worldwide field operations at Informatica, has joined FireEye as senior vice president of worldwide sales.
David DeWalt, chairman and CEO of FireEye, said Tuesday that McGee will focus on helping the company bolster its delivery of tools and services to protect customers from cyber attacks.
McGee has previously served as president of Thunderhead and held sales leadership positions at EMC and Adobe.
For his new role at FireEye, he will work scale the global sales organization for further growth with support from Jeff Williams, who was appointed as senior vice president for sales in the Americas region.
