Jim Reinhart, chief operating officer for development and operations at QTS, said the company has added hybrid connectivity to its enterprise cloud offering to give clients more options to fulfill their information technology requirements.
“Our strategy for the QTS Enterprise Cloud has always been to make it scalable and cost-efficient for our customers, whose information technology needs and environments can change very quickly,†he said Thursday.
The new feature allows access to the data center provider’s full range of connectivity products, including QTS crossConnect for interconnections within the same QTS data center and data centerConnect for collocated setups.
“Our suite of connectivity products enable our customers to… move workloads and applications efficiently,†Reinhart said.
The QTS Enterprise Cloud platform runs on technologies from VMware, EMC and Cisco.
