UTC Aerospace Systems today announced it has been selected by Boeing to continue providing landing gear systems and maintenance services to the U.S. Air Force fleet of C-17 Globemaster III aircraft.
As per their agreement UTC will work with Hill Air Force Base personnel in Ogden, Utah to evenly distribute the C-17 workload.
“We are pleased to have been selected by Boeing to support the U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III sustainment requirements,” stated Dave Castagnola, president of Landing Systems for UTC. “We look forward to the extended relationship with Boeing and Hill Air Force Base on the C-17 program which began in 2006.”
UTC Aerospace Systems follows the direction of the United Technologies Corporation.
