Accenture has made a series of changes in its technology organization by appointing Paul Daugherty as chief technology officer and Bhaskar Ghosh as group chief executive for technology delivery, with each move set to take effect in September.
The company said Tuesday that Martin Cole will retire on Aug. 31 as group chief executive for technology.
“I am delighted to welcome Paul and Bhaskar, two of our most accomplished technology executives, to our global management committee,” said Pierre Nanterme, Accenture’s chairman and CEO.
“At the same time, I want to recognize and thank Marty Cole for his significant contribution to Accenture during his exceptional 34-year career with our company.”
Daugherty and Ghosh will report to Nanterme in their new roles.
Daugherty will be in charge of the company’s technology strategy, the technology innovation and ecosystem group and the Accenture Technology Labs’ research and development work.
Ghosh will work out of Bangalore, India to manage the company’s global technology delivery work and oversee tools for delivery productivity and innovation, as well as the application services practice.
