NTT DATA is expanding its operations in Canada by establishing an Advanced Development Centre in Nova Scotia.
“Nova Scotia has proven to be an ideal location for us since we opened our office under the name Keane, Inc. in 1997,” Dean Williams, NTT’s executive vice president of global human capital, said Friday.
NTT DATA Canada said it will be eligible to receive payroll rebates from the province of up to $6.7 million if it creates 500 jobs over six years, which would cost $80 million in salary and generate $10.5 million in personal income tax.
“To-date, NTT DATA Canada has hit all of its growth targets and had an opportunity for further growth. NSBI worked to encourage that growth to happen here,” said Peter MacAskill, Nova Scotia Business Inc. vice president.
