Louis Berger and two other companies will collaborate to manage the second line of a metropolitan rapid transit project in Panama City, Panama, under a five-year, $32 million contract.
The Panama City Metro Line 2 system will have 16 stations and elevated track between the districts of San Miguelito and December 24, Louis Berger said Tuesday.
D. James Stamatis, Louis Berger president for international operations, said the company brings five decades of construction management experience to the rail project.
Louis Berger will be working with Spanish consultancy Ayesa and Metropolitan Transports of Barcelona through the project management contract.
