A General Dynamics subsidiary has handed a video exploitation system over to the Victoria Police.
The police authority will use General Dynamics Mediaware’s D-VEX tool to catalog and analyze video from airborne operations, facilitate agencies collaboration and support intelligence reporting, General Dynamics said Wednesday.
“We look forward to working with the Victoria Police to address their critical requirements for processing the volumes of video gathered on a daily basis and deriving actionable intelligence,” said Kevin Moore, chief technology officer at General Dynamics Mediaware.
D-VEX features forensic video exploitation and data management systems.
General Dynamics Mediaware also built the system to work with commercial off-the-shelf hardware.
