Tom Lydon oversees Vistronix’s growth strategies for its strategic business units as the company’s senior vice president of corporate business development.
Lydon joined Vistronix in January 2013 after he served as SVP of business development for SAIC’s $1.5 billion Navy and Marine Corps business.
He also supervised business development efforts to capture $5 billion in new contracts at SAIC’ss C4IT unit.
Lydon held management and business development roles at General Dynamics, Veridian and Veda before he joined SAIC.
The 25-year defense industry and business development veteran began his career as a  radar operator for the U.S. Navy’s Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron.
Lydon attended the College of Southern Maryland and is a member of AFCEA DC’s board of directors.
