Cubic logoCubic Corp. has received a $4.1 million contract option to continue to supply the U.S. Army instrumental-multiple integrated laser engagement tactical vehicle systems for the branch’s training exercises.

The Army exercised the third option of an I-MILES TVS indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract the company won in 2010, Cubic said Thursday.

I-MILES TVS employs a wireless vehicle technology that is built to help military users perform casualty assessment in real time during tactical engagement drills.

Cubic says the system is designed to be configurable for any tracked or wheeled combat vehicle as well as for fixed structures and equipment.

To date, the company has been awarded nearly $65 million under the contract, which contains one base year and four option years.
