Armin Groth and Maik Stoevhase have been named managing directors of L-3 Marine Systems International’s SAM Electronics business, Marine Log Magazine reported Tuesday.
Groth and Stoevhase will report to Ulrich Weinreuter, president of L-3 MSI, according to the report.
Groth will retain his role senior vice president of integrated systems for L-3 MSI and Stoevhase will remain as SVP for L-3 MSI’s automation, navigation and communication line of business.
Groth, a 24-year maritime industry veteran, previously led SAM’s integrated systems business after he served as managing director of its STN Schiffselektrik subsidiary beginning in 2006.
The 25-year maritime industry veteran Stoevhase was previously responsible for L-3 MSI’s business development, sales coordination and corporate strategy activities after he led L-3 SAM Electronics’ energy and drives business as SVP.
