Tech Data Corp. has moved to grow its software and infrastructure services by incorporating Cisco’s cloud and managed services into Tech Data’s cloud portfolio.
Angela Beltz, vice president of product marketing within Tech Data’s Cisco Solutions Group, said Wednesday that the company intends to help customers capture fresh markets and facilitate transition of a hybrid information technology practice through the Cisco Meraki product line.
Tech Data is offering Cisco’s cloud services through the advanced infrastructure solutions division.
Andrew Sage, vice president of Americas distribution at Cisco, added that organizations would be able to use the Cisco Cloud Networking Group technology to support their cloud transition strategy.
Cisco Meraki comprises wireless, switching, security, WAN optimization and mobile device management offerings.
Tech Data partners will also have access to marketing campaigns, lead generation, case studies and playbooks through the company’s Momentum in order to integrate Cisco Meraki into their practice.
