SAP announced today that its has signed a deal with Shell in an effort to ease Shell’s transition to SAP HANA and to assist in generating value from Shell’s current IT investments.
“We are pleased that a global leader like Shell has signed this contract with SAP,” said Rob Enslin, president of SAP’s global customer operations.
“We want to support our customers’ desire for deep enterprise expertise, thought leadership and proven best practices to support how innovation without disruption can directly support business transformation.
SAP said it aims to help expand Shell’s possible business opportunities and reduce Shell’s ownership costs through SAP HANA-powered cloud computing, predictive analysis software, and more.
