SAP announced today that its has signed a deal with Shell in an effort to ease Shell’s transition to SAP HANA and to assist in generating value from Shell’s current IT investments.

SAP said it aims to help expand Shell’s possible business opportunities and reduce Shell’s ownership costs through SAP HANA-powered cloud computing, predictive analysis software, and more.
