Computer Sciences Corp. will offer three new services to enterprise and public sector customers as part of the company’s work to expand its cloud cybersecurity portfolio, CSC said Tuesday.
CSC’s Cloud Cybersecurity Services program works to offer tools from vendors in an effort to help customers migrate into cloud environments and the company will help manage and monitor its services out of the company’s Cybersecurity Operations Centers, said the company.
Samuel Visner, CSC vice president and general manager for cybersecurity, said customers who are considering adoption of public and private cloud solutions want to fortify the protection of cloud infrastructure services against an ever-changing threat landscape.
“[CSC’s] growing suite of Cloud Cybersecurity Services now offers both self-service and CSC cloud management customers a resilient framework of cloud security controls,” said Visner.
“This provides elasticity to support the dynamic business requirements that customers require on their premises or in the CSC data center environment.”
CSC cited higher levels of security control, regulations and risk management as important to customers that want to adopt emerging cloud infrastructure-based services.
A survey by McKinsey and the World Economic Forum found that half of responding businesses identified cybersecurity as a “strategic risk.”
CSC’s engineering aims to protect its clients against these threats by using industry-recognized software in order to help organizations further build up cloud security.
