Motorola Solutions Inc. has introduced a cloud-based mobile application for public safety agencies and commercial services to view field data from various devices and networks.
The Intelligent Data Portal works to collect data from existing databases and coordinate the information in order to display locations and events, Motorola Solutions said Monday.
Tim Boyle, vice president of application products and services at Motorola Global Solutions and Services, said the app is intended to help users gain access to strategic information through a dashboard of real-time and location-based alerts and events.
The app is built with an interface to gather data from the networks of AccuWeather for environmental factor monitoring, Blueforce Tactical for information exchange, Drakontas’ DragonForce collaboration app, Intrado Beware for data about events and Omega Group’s CrimeView dashboard.
The mobile app works with existing computer-aided dispatch systems and browser-based software.
