James Henley, former quality director of Eaton‘s electrical products group, has been appointed senior vice president for corporate quality and will oversee processes intended to bolster company’s portfolio of product and services.
Eaton said Wednesday that Henley, who joined the company as part of its 2012 acquisition of Cooper Industries, will directly report to Nanda Kumar, executive vice president of Eaton’s business systems segment.
“James is a leader who brings more than 20 years of functional experience and depth to this corporate role, and he has a great track record of developing the strategy and delivering results in all his assignments and across a number of industries,” Kumar said.
A certified quality engineer, Henley was quality council chief at Cooper then quality director for its Bussmann division.
He also held quality management and leadership positions at Newell-Rubbermaid, Air Products and Chemicals and Primex Technologies.
