Information Builders has launched a new web-based visual analytics offering the company built for users to analyze and gain insights into large volumes of data.
The WebFOCUS InfoDiscovery tool is designed to collect data from various business dimensions and provide the findings to analysts, power users and business clients, Information Builders said Tuesday.
“InfoDiscovery is designed to open up visual information access and analysis capabilities to a wide group of users, equipping even more stakeholders with the intelligence and insights needed to improve decision making,†said Gerald Cohen, president and CEO of Information Builders.
The company intends for users to collaborate with each other through InfoDiscovery’s server and repository systems and the completed projects are stored in the tool’s portal.
Intuitive maps also work to combine market data with spatial information for geographical analysis functions.
Analysts can view trends, find inventory and identify fraud by using mapping visualization tools, the company says.
